Colosseum

As you can surely all imagine, we have thought long and hard about how we can bridge the time for all of you until we can resolve the issues regarding our promised patch. After all, we also want to keep the fun going for those of you who are in the high-level range and currently have the fewest options.

We continue to invest a lot of time and energy into the construction and development of the new island. As you already know, however, a few obstacles have been thrown in our path. They won’t stop us, of course, but unfortunately they will slow things down more than we had wished for ourselves and for you.

We know and observe that Dragon Festivals are not the perfect solution for you. They were also never intended to be in their current state, and by the Tequila God, we are just as eagerly waiting for the patch to arrive because we currently have so much in the pipeline that we want to push to the test server right afterwards. Feixel and Ikelon are working incredibly hard on the fourth island, and the sooner we get the current patch out of standby mode, the faster they can complete the long-awaited fourth island realm.

That is why we have discussed at length what we can offer you in the meantime. Positive and optimistic, we therefore hope that it will only be a short dry spell.

  1. The Games Are Open Subject to change, we will therefore open the Colosseum in its old form for players level 120 and above. We know that this step won’t be welcomed by everyone; we too had heated discussions about it.

The Colosseum will initially be open 24/7 for approximately 2 weeks (until 30.10.21). This means we are putting it in your hands how you deal with it, and we are of course very much dependent on your feedback.

The whole thing will only work if you treat each other fairly, form rotating groups that might not normally exist in those constellations, which also means that you play together and approach each other respectfully and fairly.

We will certainly also keep a close eye on things in this regard. From usage times to fairness and camaraderie, and we also reserve the right to intervene or sanction if necessary, even though that’s certainly the last thing we want. But if we see that it’s not working, we’ll pull the emergency brake if needed.

We don’t want one and the same person to set up camp there and fight their way to level 200 in fourteen days. Because we want to emphasize this very clearly: these roughly 14 days are a test phase. It means clear togetherness and it also means that we are asking for feedback regarding teamwork, XP, criticism and improvements, etc.

After the test phase, we will sit down together, evaluate various data, and of course also discuss what you share with us from your experiences. For this, we will close the Colosseum during the Halloween period and holidays.

Why? Some small adjustments will follow, among other things in response to your feedback.

Don’t worry, you will of course keep the levels you earned there. BUT after these two weeks, we will make small adjustments to the opening times and add one or another idea that we have in mind.

Besides, even a Colo-Heinzi needs his time off and wants to be paid for his service.

_ Side note: _ In the course of our internal discussions about pros and cons, we developed a concept for the future, and in the end both proponents and opponents agreed on a good compromise. Nevertheless, these two weeks are a foundation for us to see whether it makes sense to pave a way in that direction.

2.) Halloween Considering that we will close the Colosseum for Halloween to conduct an evaluation and add some things, Schrumpumpel and Heinz-Bert will return from the realm of the dead. Perhaps also the headless horseman? Who knows what’s going on behind the veil to the underworld?

3.) Galvit Now, the closer Christmas time comes and the more the scent of cookies rises to his nose, the closer Galvit draws to his favorite trading spot in the Kingdom of Goldmond. He is currently reconsidering his selection of wonderful wares. But surely some much-desired items will be among them.
